Christmas Is A Coming…..
I wasn’t feeling particularly festive until….
our brilliant day at beautiful Pitlands Farm on Saturday, for our festive Christmas Wreath and Table Decorations workshop. How quickly 3 hours zipped by in a daze of greenery, mulled wine, a log fire and some Christmas music…..
Kate and I met some lovely ladies from far and wide who had booked up to join us for our first workshop together. Kate runs Shelsley Herbs and Flowers in nearby Shelsley Walsh – not too far from Pitlands Farm (Clifton On Teme) and she showed us how to make wonderful fresh Christmas Wreaths with foliage gathered from her amazing garden and things you can collect from woodland and hedgerows.
I was kept busy as Kate’s assistant for the day and my role was to keep the troops fed and watered with warm mince pies, festive nibbles, mulled wine and Prosecco.
What is always amazing about our workshops, is how differently everyone puts a project together and our Saturday workshop was no exception.
